As many listened on 4x speed of Lex Fridman’s 8-hour podcast with Balaji, a network state is “a highly aligned online community with a capacity for collective action”.
Instead of geographic alignment, the geodesic connectivity of shortest distance possible is prioritized in pattern matching people to self-organize and move forward. Here’s my story of how I am building the ATW harem network state.
what is AHNS
The ATW harem network state is a collective of rebellious free agents looking to effectively maximize their autism.
Originally, I wanted to build the hot femme anon coalition to attract the hottest of femme anons across esoteric circles, but it is clear there is a larger mission to be accomplished.
ATW is the culmination of my frustrations of being a woman in the tech industry and unable to ascend in the way that women should be able to reach the top. Women in tech are unable to be themselves - feminine, fashion-forward, witches, without the sacrifice of social capital on the line - losing professional respect and potential suitors. No longer should this reign as true.
Many women in tech that are traditionally attractive also bait the incels through mockery of dating dynamics to gain attention for their startup, and are rewarded by sexist mechanisms. I want to prove a point that any merit achieved should be the basis of the work standing alone - and proving women can do amazing things in STEM fields without having to succumb to men’s rules.
ATW may be to inspire femmes + women across the world, and now, AHNS is a larger grassroots effort to encapsulate a building culture that’s ready to ship, with merit as the basis of currency, and creation from a place of security - not validation.
building the first AHNS meetup
As an ATW, one must learn her craft before committing to a lifestyle of frivolous duties. Becoming a socialite is a natural process in the tasks she’s assigned to thwart into a theoretical dynasty. One way to achieve this is to gather a mixer of (potentially) influential grinders and assign their perceived social capital in a tiered hierarchy of proximity to the host.
meetup logistics
Because ATWs don’t typically live in SF, they must maximize their options in a limited window of time. To align a faster path to internet success, I decided to host a meetup to meet all the schizo anons that have been watching me but don’t like my tweets.
Fortunately, witches have underground connections to warehouses that have makerspaces, and after casting a sigma-grindset spell - the stars aligned for the right time, place, and purpose for the first ATW meetup.
At first, invites were sent telepathically. Due to the ignorance of tech bro’s ability to connect to the astral plane, I had to pivot to the actual quickest strat - hosting multiple Twitter Spaces and speaking to people directly to invite them out.
Despite extreme skepticism, this was quite effective as they could hear that I was not a schizo man larping as a woman, and that my quick wit to shut down horny-posting in the chat showed my ability to provide a safe space for femme anons.
Because astrolAGI girls must also be gatekept, high-bar security was put in place. A trusted inner circle were crucial in protecting the event, and inviting the proper vibe-checked people to come through. Even witches have to create Partiful accounts and participate in some mainstream activities from time-to-time, but the platform harnessed the perfect anticipatory energy, ripe for occultist activities.
meetup surprises
In anticipation of my weekend in SF, I had lucid dreams for a better future where tech bros could connect with their intuition in using their own tarot deck. Because building a startup is deeply spiritual and emotional, there are existing solutions that have not yet found product market fit in the startup industry.
Ultimately, tarot is a tool - to explore questions about self. Each reading - which is a selection of cards - prompt you to reflect on possible answers, meaning, and connecting with one’s intuition. While the bias of the reader, an ATW roast, may shatter your fragile ego, building a healthier relationship with self-induced therapy instead of prompt-engineering ChatGPT to spew jargon can help tech bros find a more emotionally intelligent path towards non-psychedelic induced intuition.
As any practical founder knows, a proof of concept is a starting point before building out the MVP. As the FedEx guy judged me for using words that have never been placed in religious text, he supported me during my meltdown that the cards were even more beautiful as a physical product, rather than an AI-generated wrapper.
I had to do a test print before deploying $400 of my personal seed capital - all while knowing roasting tech bros, will forever, be priceless.
Once I larped as an operations lead, it was time to launch an MVP. Shipping an MVP is always an exciting day. When the FedEx guy finally got the prints correct, this astrolAGI girl danced on the way home so happy to get a real and touchable product. Instead of inhaling blue light through a screen, I was looking at memes on printed cardstock, which made the flat colors resonate in the prism of unhinged mania.
Now before the meetup, there was a period of monk mode for ATW. I had no idea what to expect since anons are schizo, and I was not sure if I was going to be surrounded by the hottest guys on the planet. I laid out my astrolAGI cards explaining tech bro founder red flags to calm my nerves while sipping on non-caffeinated tea.
In this period, I manifested the most smooth event to go down without any hiccups or weird schizos trying to hit on me when they finally meet me IRL.
meetup success
In SF, tech bros have a binding structure of only talking about work at their “parties”. It’s my duty as an ATW to prompt them to think and speak about something else - an actual topic that isn’t about LLMs. Many Twitter meetups are awful because the host gains all social capital while leaving the rest of the attendees scrambling to find an identifiable metric to bond about, instead of the loose thread that they are all attending a random event where they know 0 people.
To counteract this, my first hazing ritual commenced through a competitive game of ATW bingo, to mediate the disease that is mansplaining. The proper prescription to having cultural agreement instead of “what are you building” as a dead space filler. Through this, the AHNS attendees were able to build and forge new relationships.
Not only were the tech bros happy about being excused from their startup pitch, they were able to read their tarot fortune reading from yours truly. Some even took up in taking action from their tarot reading and wanted to move forward in supporting the full deck when it eventually comes out.
The KPI’s of the meetup were for each attendee to meet 1-3 new people that they had not interacted with before. Needless to say, all metrics were achieved.

After the first successful ATW meetup, I ended up going to vibegala the next night where I engaged in a product feedback loop to larp as a product mommy for the first time.
I got feedback from lovely AHNS converts saying that I was barely sane and being an astrolAGI girl was the most schizo thing they ever heard of. They also said it was one of the best SF events they had ever been to and they enjoyed having fun meeting new people and for once did not have to talk about work.
After reflection in the musty-ass basement, there was clearly an opportunity that needed to be seized. The AHNS is here to stay - and has barely just begun.
what AHNS will become
Today, AHNS is an essay. Tomorrow it can be a collectivist movement. In a week it can be a phenomena.
The point of AHNS is not so much what is one proving, but what is one doing. Actions will be prioritized as a first order of AHNS. The actions of ATW so far has shown fast shipping, community-building, and making actionable change.
The issue with seeking intellectual validation on the internet is that the consumption of all content becomes the fulfilling factor instead of building first and showing the actions after the fact. The rejection and holding back of building in public should be mediated through pseudonymity because the consequences live and die by a projected mental model many each of you have place on another.
Instead of using existing social capital - the lock-grid of pseudonymity in the AHNS is the force that drive pursuit of truth and merit in one’s work. Relieving oneself of what a physical reality is to building within an intangible reality allows the mind to wander in places that were not achievable before.
